after taping and protecting everything on the fuse side the winshield was fitted one last time. A mark off line was placed on the lower edge to show the final trim line . another line of tape was placed for the inside primer line just below the dash piping bead. Then the entire window was taped off and protected . Electrical tape works great for this was a little sceptical handles sanding very well also. The one thing that was learned with the tape is - dont stretch it lay it down without tension and it wont have any tendancy to pull away. prior to laying the tape on - clean hands and surface with rubbing alcohol and lint free cloth.
removed excess from below the trim lines will die grinder / roloc disc's - less than an 1/8 in any one spot . Chamfer all edges and corners.
sand all machine marks and scratchs from all areas with 150 grit then red scotch bright untill smooth and no tooling marks .
