Manual Reference:  fuse skin forward
Brief Description:  glur in fwd skin right side

Humidity has been great for skinnig its been nearly 100% at 85 to 90 degrees all week , miserable to work in but will provide good tight skins.

I am going outside the the manuals instructions here . The manual has these skins being apllied at a much later time . I am sure there are reasons which I will find later but after much review the only benifit I can see for doing so is a lighter fuse when mounting ( lifting ) the fuse to the center section.

I had weather proofed the skin bays earlier with two coats of west epoxy.
All glue joints were sanded again . All fuse glue joints were cleaned and sanded.
Trial fit and clamped .
The skin was removed bays were blown out and vacumed to be debris free .
T-88 was applied to the skin joints and spread to overlap past the weather proofing.
T-88 was also applied to all joints and spread evenly.
Skin was positioned and placed . Clamped and stapeled .
Excess seep was cleaned of the structure .

Although not pictured my method of gluing has been greatly improved over the life of the project.
I started with popcycle sticks ro spread glue on the joint surfaces - takes to much time and worry some in high heat.
Then I seen my wife decorating a cake . She used this squeeze bag thing for icing , unfortunately she caught me getting it out of the drawer - she handed me a zip lock bag and asvised me to cut off the corner and squeeze the glue out . This worked well but left alot of glue in the bag.

One day I spotted ketchup and mustard plastic squeeze bottles at the dollor store and life has been good ever since. It took less than 5 minutes to apply T-88 to all the glue joints on both surfaces of this skinning project .
