Locate aft pivot point . First set tubes parallel with spar and jigged with blocks to hold in position. placed spacer in gear and rand bolt up to gear spar to hold bracket in proper position - had to use a blcok to hold bolt up . Then with 24 in square held on the forward face of the main spar - measured the distance between the square and the pivot points on the gear legs . Adjusted aft bracket to come into square with the forward bracket . Clamp and cycle recheck . Now ready to drill aft bracket location on gear spar.
