The trick here is to get both plates in exactly the same position on both sides of the rib - it MATTERS since the bolt holes need to line up. the easiest way to accomplish this was to drill two locating holes - outboard plate was clamped in proper position - when this is accomplished the 3/4" referance line for the flap runs right thru ( center ) the hole drilled for the aileron pivot point - check tail position , check pivot point hole /referance line - drill guide with 3/16 bit at pivot point double check 3/4 ref at tail and drill another at the rear plate and bolt down both.
