Brief Description: over center spring

chose 3 types of springs at the local hardware store - call out for spring is suggested to be 1/2 dia by 9 inches . I found I liked the 1/2 x 8 1/2 best . This spring snaps side stay over center and actually pulls the gear into the well on retract.
