Manual Reference:  End Ribs - BAD DAY
Brief Description:  end rib doublers

well a lesson being complacent - I laminated the 2.5 mm doublers on the end ribs and cleaned the garage. Ive learned that if I stand around and watch epoxy cure , i can save alot of grief (sanding )
if I scrape all excess glue after the squeeze is complete . I use a putty knife and scrape the joints and excess resin from the joints - I wipe this on a rag dampened with acetone or laqure thinner .
While the glue was curring I swept up all the sawdust fine and placed them in the barrel outside my garage - when I was done cleaning excess epoxy from the glue joints - I threw the rags away too.
They were barely damp with laqurer thinner and sticky with T-88 epoxy. Bad things can happen!
Rags with a combustable solvent + a chemicly activated (HEAT) epoxy + fine saw dust DOES EQUAL FIRE ! I knew this - luckly I had a hose very near by but still $4000.00 damage - I made sure the barracuda wasnt in danger first - then put the fire out .
