Brief Description: Center section straps and dihedral
Set upper straps in position ans with a lazer set the center section perfectly level and plum. With a string lin pulled tight from tip to tip - the 7 3/8 dihedral was set and the tuned in with the lazer. Starps were locked down and the bushing locations and straps were trace onto the spar.Broke the spar down again and Bushings were installed . Reset the spars together leveled and plumbed everthing again with the lazer and locked the straps down with clamps for Drilling and reaming. Broke down the spars drilled and reamed as required installed blots as required . Reasembled - lazer checked - everything is acurate - spar assembly is true from tip to tip , dihedral is on the numbers . Check for slop - there is no movement in any connections . This was a long meticulous operation 17 hours of checking rechecking and triple checking , assemble unassemble reassemble. I wouldnt call it nerve racking but close to it . Well worth though , nice to see it all toghether.
