I layed 3 layers of 8 oz carbon fiber and an additional 3 layers of 6 oz glass on top. When forming the fairing I made a step to accept the canopy fairing . When everything is fit and finished all will blend nicely without drag. I added white pigment to the epoxy when I layed up the glass . During finishing it should provide a - Stop sanding warning - when carbon starts to become visible.
