During the winter most of my time was spent serching for an engine . Not much work on the airframe bits here and there. I settled on an 0540-A1D5 that was installed and running at time of purchase. Its an expensive gamble in most cases but for me buying an engine of a pallet just did not sit well.
The engine was dissasembled and sent out for machine work .
The case went to Ney's and they were nice enough to deliver the lower end and acc gears to romans .
Not one red tag came back . Cylinders still have to go out and I expect a 50/50 on them .
