Brief Description:  canopy mold

I finished gluing in all the foam and roughed out the shape with a shur form . Lots of eye work here.
After I was where I liked the rough shape I filled all the gaps in the foam with a can of expanding spray foam. After it was dry I knocked off the excess and did some more shaping with the shur form. Then a 12 inch flexable sanding block was used to straighten and level the surface and curves. Then a 1/8 inch layer of sheet rock mud was used to coat the entire mold .

After the mud cured , more sanding - then another layer - then sand . The third layer of mud I mixed in blue line chaulk - which made the sheet rock mud nice and blue . After this mud cured - sand again. The reason for the Blue sheet rock mud was to identify high and lows on the mold surface.
The mold was very smooth and straight after sanding little very little blue left showing and where it was it was translucent and not enough to worry about.

Cleaned the surface applied 2 layers of 6 oz e glass with west epoxy
