The lower edge of the window opening is a straight line between the radiused corners. Used line and measured down 3/4 of an inch and installed a 1/2 by 1/2 stringer between the bulkhead and the rear bow. This will set the windows lower position , now the top stringer can be located by placeing the window in place and marking the top ,
plans called for 3/8 x 3/8 decided on 1/2 to reinforce the upper window area , the ply on both sides had developed a wave and need to straighten and strenghten this area .
