The manual calls out this procedure for later in the build, my objective is to continue finishing up the glass work - and this needs to be accomplished .
The manual ply cut diagrams show this as one piece cut from a 4x8 sheet with grain running for and aft . My measurments show me this is not acheivable with just 48" of ply . Since a scarf joint going to be required anyway - I made the coaming up from 4 pieces of left over 1/16 ply . all joints were scarfed 12/1 and glued up with T-88
