The trim fin work was started. This was a very tedious project. Getting all the dimensions to match the plans was impossible. It was found that making the angles of the fins match the tubular structure and so that cutout lines did not go through crucial rivets was more important than using the 118 and 120 degree figures in the plans. A cutoff disc was used to carefully rough cut the lines versus aircraft shears. The lines were then sanded to dimension with a belt and disc sander.
