Most of the day was spent aligning the tail rotor shaft. The shaft bearing assemblies had to be moved quit a bit to the starboard side. The tail rotor shaft was removed no less than 10 times, removing very small amounts of metal from the mounting holes until the tail rotor shaft was perfectly straight. May consider weldiing on a small bracket in the future to align the bearing mounts a little better. A 1/8" hole was drilled in each side of the bearing housing for the fore assembly to allow future alignment. A 5/16" bit was used on the aft bearing mount as there was very little material to drill this hole.
