Brief Description: Oil Filler DIIY
Pretty proud of this one, we'll see how it turns out working, not opposed to replacement down the road, but I think it'll work well, and is pretty easy to do it.
Took the stock VW oil filler/alternator pedestel and cut it down with a hack saw to remove excess material, next I did some finishing operations with bench grinder, dremel, brake cylinder hone, hole saw to cut it down to a simple oil filler similar to the one on a C-182.
This avoids extra cost, and utilizes a part I already bought with the engine, plug is plumbing pressure plug for a 1.5'' hole, the wing nut tightens and expands a rubber gasket and is very tight when installed.
