Brief Description:  Right & Left Aft ribs drill for conduit (15-5)

I finished up priming the doublers and stiffening fork. I also made a decision on where to add the holes for the conduit. I created a template to make the center in the same spot on each rib, then removed it (not yet rivetted on) and drilled a #40 hole, followed by the step drill to 0.75 diameter for the conduit. The outer most 3 ribs on each wing have a different hole pattern, so I had to adjust the position slightly. The conduit will have a slight kink as it transitions along the wing from rib #13 to rib #12 (#1 being the most inboard rib and #15 being the most outboard rib). I’m ready to start attaching the ribs to the spar. I would typically put the shop head on the thinner material (rib side), but that would make it hard to remove, if I ever need to, and more difficult for the rivet gun access. I’ve seen several builders put the factory head on the spar side and buck from the rib side.
