Brief Description: Starting on the wing aft ribs (14-2)
Started section 14 which will include attaching the aft side ribs. I guess I’ll need to start thinking about where to store these to get the out of the way and clear up table surfaces. For now, I’m still trying to work on the left wing and right wing at the same time. The first step was to flute all the ribs to get them to lay flat, then I cut the spacers and angle to length…except…I thought I was cutting the angle to 7-13/16, but I actually cut them to 7-13/32. This leaves them too short, so I ordered some more from Vans. There is a local shop, but I didn’t see the size/thickness I needed. So, I proceeded to the next steps, deburring and match drilling the flap support brackets.
