It took a few days to get everything inventoried and organized, but as I was doing that Vans sent me the backorder items, so everything is here and accounted for. I’d forgotten how difficult it is to remove that amazing duct tape Van’s uses. I started the little practice kit they provided and got to use the c-frame in a few locations. The dimples come out better than when I squeeze them. I could squeeze the rivets, but I want to use this as a practice project to buck some rivets. I figure I can drill them out and re-try several times. Plus, I have some left over mistake skins from the RV-12, that I can use for practice. Once I get it down, then I need to do some practice with my wife (Cyndi) who will be helping me on the other side of the skins when needed.
