I layed out both HS-702 front spar channels end to end with the flanges facing down and clecoed the HS-710 reinforcement angle and HS-714 splice angle to both the spar channels. I match drilled the 10 holes inside holes on each angle according to the instructions. I used a compass to draw a 1/4" radius at the ends of both reinforce angles and drew a line 2 1/2" back to the edge of the angle bar. I used my band saw to cut most of the radius and trim 2 1/2" taper back. I then used the 1" belt sander to remove and smoth the band saw marks. I rounded the edges with the belt sander and aluminum file. I finished both angles with wet 400 grit sand paper to a satin finish.
