The 2 Van's plastic naca vents that came with Vent SV-Combo kit look a little flimsy to me, so I purchased a pair of carbon fiber vents. The vents are bonded to the vent openings and both sides of the fusalage with Proseal. I scuffed up the flanges of both vents with a red scotch brite pad and did the same with the mounting surface on the fusalage skin. I cut several lengths of duck tape and prepared several clamps with blocks of wood. I mixed up a batch of Proseal and put a bead on the flange of one of the naca vents. I postioned the vent on the skin opening and used the duct tape to hold it in postion. I used the clamps and blocks of wood to apply pressure to the vents to insure a tight seal. I repeated the process for the left side. I will remove the clamps tomorrow.
