Brief Description:  Riveted Brake Hose Bracket to Firewall

The brake hose bracket F-6122-1 is riveted to the cabin side of the F-601A-2 stainless steel firewall. I had previously deburred and painted the bracket and match drilled to the firewall. DWG 19 specifies AN426AD3-4 Rivets so I need to dimple the firewall and countersink the bracket. I used my handy dimpler set with a nail and my pop rivet hand tool to dimple the firewall. Place the nail through the first die and insert through hole in firewall and then install the second die and lightly sqeeze with the pop rivet tool. Next I used my countersink and countersunk the bracket holes. Last I clecoed the bracket back on the firewall and checked fit. Perfect. I decided to back rivet the bracket to the firewall from the cabin side with excellent results.
