Brief Description: Made F-741A-L&R Tunnel Support Cover
Tunnel cover requires making 3 pieces. The sides are fabricated from AZ6-063x1 z channel and the top from .040 aluminum sheet. I cut both z channels to length and then marked the angle cuts as called for in DWG 30. I deburred the edges and then cut and trimmed the top cover. I clecoed the parts together and marked and drilled the holes for AN426AD4-5 rivets. Next I countersunk the holes in the cover. I clecoed it back together and the assembly on the tunnel floor to mark the screw holes that are already in place on the seat floor ribs. I drilled the holes and now it was time to prep the parts for paint. After the paint had dried I riveted the assembly together and fit it to the floor.
