Started by reading everything, including the instructions for the stall warning installation. I got very confused by the instructions in the stall warning kit to use a unibit to drill 0.5 inch holes in the skin. Played with the included template. Cleco'ed the doubler for the access panel but couldn't figure out the little tabs. Finally the light went on. Most of the stall warning instructions are for builders who have already completed their plane and are retro-fitting the kit. So it was pretty easy to figure out what to ignore and what to do.
Cleco'ed the ribs in place. Van's instructions say that making the cradle precisely isn't that important. Don't believe them. It works much much better if the cradle holds the skin in the approximate final shape.
Cut the little slot for the stall warning vane, then cleco'ed everything in place. Fit the piece to the spar. Left the bottom skin on and didn't put all the spar cleco's in, will finish tomorrow along with the right leading edge.
