Started to fit the elevators to the horizontal stabilizer. Discovered the AN3 bolts wouldn't go through the hinges. So I had to take successively larger drill bits by hand to remove the powder coating so that the bolts would fit.
Took a couple hours but finally got them to work. Don't want to hose up the brackets since they are riveted and the HS is closed up.
