Okay. Started by moving the fuel selector value brackets forward so the valve is 2" forward of where it was. Second smart move was to un-zip-tie the filter/pump and move them out of the way.
I chopped up the right tank fuel line since it had issues. I used an 8" section to make a line for the selector-filter section. Started by flaring one end and installing the sleeve/nut. That allowed me to actually screw it on the selector when making test fits. I was able to make two 90 degree bends and one 135 degree bend to get a fitting with about an inch of straight length going into the filter which allowed me to flare it.
Next I re-installed the filter loosely, then straightened the fuel line out, drilled out the bottom hole in the gear tower, and installed the bushings. Flared the filter side of the line, fit it, cut to length, and installed it on the filter. Then put on the sleeve/nuts and flared the line in place.
I have ordered more line and will build the other lines when it arrives.
