Brief Description:  Painting

Spent four hours prepping and painting all the bulkhead parts and angle/stop parts. Everything went reasonably well until the end. I ran out of paint with the 807 bulkhead parts left to do. So I opened the newly arrived cans of paint to whip up a little batch.

I mixed the last of the old paint and a little of the new paint. Big mistake. It was pretty runny when going on. Hung everything. Most parts were dry to the touch in about 2-4 hours since I had thinned the paint a lot and it was very humid out. The 807 parts painted with the mixture were wet to the touch after 4 hours.

Long story short, they were still wet the next day and never dried. I ended up having to scrub off the wet gummy primer, clean everything with acetone/scotchbrite, and then reprime with only the new paint. After that try dried in 2 hours and were fine.
