Brief Description: Drilling radius blocks for root rib attach angle
I did more work today than just this but I wanted to show here how I drilled the radius blocks for the root rib attach angle. The problem is the small size of the radius blocks. (I wish I had a better camaera to get closer to the detail)
After shapping the correct radius on the blocks to fit inside the angle, I sued the two outside holes in the angle (3/32s) as a guide to drill the blocks. If you look close I have the attach angle on top with the two radius blocks in position ad sandwiched between the angle and a wood block. Then using the drill press I drilled the 3/32s hole through the block, then updrilled to 1/8 an dthen updrilled to 3/16. After deburring, I have a smooth/tight fir for the AN bolts.
