I started the day by running the Garmin 496 GPS data out cable to the Advanced Flight Systems AFS 3500 display system and also for eventual use by the autopilot. Then I returned to the installation of the cockpit night lighting system. By the end of the day I had completely wired the foot well, compass, map and glareshield lights. By the time I was finished it was after darkness had fallen so I was able to conduct a realistic test of the system from fully dim to fully bright. The accompanying photo is the full bright position.
