Brief Description: Radio stack installation preparations
I started the day by laying out and cutting the holes for the Garmin SL-40 comm and GTX-330 transponder followed by the hole for the air gizmo dock that will hold the Garmin 496 GPS. Then I cut some stock aluminium angle for the radio stack side support and drilled the angles to the instument panel. Then I drilled out the air gizmo dock mount holes to the support angles and clamped the SL-40 and GTX 330 trays together and to the support angles in preparation for drilling.
