Brief Description:  Primer on

Well today started of full ahead. I cleaned and etched the Ailerons, Rudder, Elevators, Horizontal stabilizer, and gas tank tops using Stewart Systems EcoClean and EcoEtch. The process is to EcoClean at a ratio of 1 part EcoClean to 20 Parts distilled water to clean the aluminum of finger prints, grease and grime and wash the part like you were washing the car with water and sponge then using EcoEtch mixed 1 part EcoEtch to 2 parts distilled water spray the part and using a red Scotch Brite pad further wash the aluminum not allowing the surface to dry leaving the EcoEtch work for 1-3 minutes then rinsing with clean water. Then dry the rivets with compressed air. I had decided to use the Citation Paint Sprayer / Respirator System and found it worked great for drying the aluminum rivets and surface. Then I hung all the parts in the spray booth. And allowed them all time to dry while I set up the Citation System and ran the hoses. Stewart System is water born paint system and using the Citation to spray with you will need to keep the air to the paint gun cool as the turbine will make the air warm. I have two paint sprayer lines so I ran them both and the first one I coiled in storage bin and filled it with water and ice to make a cooler. It worked great. Then I primed all the parts using Stewart Systems Primer/Sealer (E7510) and primed all the parts.
