Brief Description: Started stabilizing the Nosebowl
Drilled and clecoed and screwed 3/4 X 1/8 angle to firewall and nose bowl to construct side supports. Drilled and clecoed and screwed 3/4 X 1/16 angle to firewall and nose bowl to construct top supports. Using 032 sheet aluminum 13 1/2 X 23 1/2 for the top skin drilled for scre3ws on firewall and nose bowl. Cut to length two piano hinges for top access covers and laid out rivet line on 32 mm spacing and drilled and clecoed. Sure found out the nose bowl is not cut off straight and I will have to trim when I have completed the skin on the cowling. I had to remove the isolation dampeners for the oil cooler and will have to use the rubber grommets as shown in the engine installation DVD.
