Brief Description:  Finishing the little things

Installed air ducting around oil cooler to match up with nose bowl, sealed around air ducting with high temp silicone sealant. It takes time setting this up with the installation of the nose bowl and removing it and reinstalling it. Let’s just say I know how to put the nose bowl on and take it off. I finally decided how and where I want the intercom jacks and wires to run and installed them. I completed a test of the system with two head sets and all tested good. After installing the rudder stops I had to cut a notch in the inspection covers for the elevator controls. I completed the installation of the exhaust and muffler springs along with safety wire. Safety wired the quick drain oil plug I installed. Sealed the firewall around bolt heads and cable runs using high temp sealant. Finished setting up fuel lines for connecting wings to fuselage on left wing. I had one wing that had the fuel strainers installed and the right wing tank does not have them so I had to order them. No were in the plans is there talk of having screens in the tanks and they are a good idea. SO if you are building this kit remember to order them as they are not part of the kit.
