Brief Description: Set winsheild in place and drilled flashing for ri
Clamped H-244 to cabin door frame and drilled rivet holes spaced 64mm apart. Clecoed in place and repeated on the right side of the cabin. Placed wind shield in place and checked fit. Had to trim some along back edge of windshield that slips behind H-244 but other than that it fit easily. Drilled and clecoed flashing along the top of windshield. I had duct taped the fiberglass flashing along the front when I set the windshield. Laid out rivet line and drilled holes 64mm centers. I could not find any drawings on the windshield and how it all fits together but found it to be easer to do than I had thought. I have been working on setting things up for painting, planning my gauge panel and waiting for my engine to arrive. Jim from Jabiru Pacific e-mailed me that it is in LA and when he hears that it made it through customs he will ship it out. I will not set the windshield until I have finished the pain work. I have been out of town a lot lately so I have not been able to get all I would like to done and it is that time of year that we are involved with family more I guess. I am still shooting for spring to be flying if all goes well.
