Brief Description:  More instructions on setting wings

Now move your string to top of wing at about the front spar location and run it across to other side and pull tight. Now by lifting your wing ends you can easily set the wings until your string measures the same at both sides of cabin to the string. This will set your wings in there final position. (You have been checking that the cabin is always level across,) Right?

Time for the wings struts. Take the mounting brackets, Drill the hole for the mounting bolt that bolt to cabin brackets keep the front bracket to the front of the cabin part about 4mm from the front edge and not down tight in the clevis part. It should not be sticking out past the large alum part. It should be even or slightly in on that bottom cabin bracket. And temp bolt onto the wing mount and cabin mount. Then it is easy to measure how long to cut your struts. I just measured from one bracket shoulder to the other one then transferred that to the strut and cut it. Mine were 98 7/8” on the left side and 98 13/16 on the right side. Then put it in position and drill one of the three holes for the bolts that will hold strut and bracket together. Try to angle the strut so that you will get some aerodynamics. After you have drilled one bolt into each end take them off and drill and bolt the rest on the work table. Make sure to torque your bolts. Do not over tighten them as this will put unneeded stress in them and they could break to easy.
