Brief Description:  Fininshed the wing tonight

I drilled, dimpled and riveted the 27 nut plates in place for the fiberglass wing tip and 10 in the navigation light off set. Screwed the fiberglass wing tip and off set in place. I have not installed the transformer yet as I want to install that after the wing is painted and on the plane and I will be storing the wing at my hanger and it is an open hanger with a locked gate. I will start my ailerons now and do the left wing after that. I should have my elevator skin by then to. The kit is sent with 100 nut plates but I have already use them up and picked up another 100 at wicks. The wing alone took 64. You will have to get 400 3/32 rivets for them to as they are not in the kit. The spacing on the nut plates are around 128mm and I tried to adhere to that and was very successful in doing that. Rick from Bushcaddy USA suggested to use a sanding belt with a 2x4 cut just big enough to fit inside the belt to sand the edge of the fiberglass wing tip down to size and it worked great. You can trim the fiberglass with the shears to and then sand smooth.
