The wife and I have been remodeling the master bath and we set this weekend aside to finish the tile. Now we just have the grout and wood doors to do. With the tile down I was able to get to the struts and get them painted with the yellow Stewart System water born two part epoxy. I was very happy with the paint job this time. I can tell you I would not have it any other way but to paint the plane myself even with the mistake I made I have learned how to paint with this paint and am very happy with the out come.
