Brief Description:  EIS trouble shooting and starter solenoid wiring

EIS was not communicating to the EFIS so after receiving some emails back from GRT yahoo group and GRT I took some time to trace out the setup and see if I possibly could have made a mistake. After testing continuity in the green/black wire that is from the EIS out put to the EFIS input I found I did make a mistake. I had placed the EFIS green/Black wire in pin 32 and not pin 31. After removing the pin from the D connector and breaking the pin (after I got it out) I picked up some new one and installed one on the wire. (Now I know how to crimp the pin for the D connectors.) I put the green/black wire in whole 31 and secured the cover back in place and reconnected the EIS and the EFIS. Powered up and EIS is communicating with the EFIS. Mounted starter button by running a 16 gage wire from main switch to push button the from push button to starter solenoid on the lower connection. Ran a ground wire form the higher connector to the NEG battery post. Also ran a wire from the push button solenoid side to the power board. This wire will kill power to the avionics if the starter is push when they are on so you do not have a voltage spike.
