Removed engine and mount from firewall and removed engine mount from engine. Rick will be sending out a new engine mount that will raise the engine as the first engine mount had the engine fairly low to the thrust line. I installed the nut plates for the battery box with the help of my lovely wife. It was the first time see has helped me and she learned how to use the cleco pliers, clecos and the pneumatic rivet gun. She is the second person to help me on this project. Dale from Idaho was the first. Hopefully she will want to help more as it was fun to watch her figure out which way the rivet goes into the gun. Then I riveted the oil recovery bottle holder, air box and cabin heat box in place. I installed a bulkhead fitting through the firewall for the gascolator and riveted it in place. Next I will work on the interior while I wait for the engine mount. It will be here in two weeks is what Rick said as he had to order more tubing.
