Brief Description: Final drilling of wing root doubler/extrusion mods
Today was all about the angles attaching rib 3 as well as the horizontal angle at the bottom of the bay between ribs 1 and 2. This gives a great deal of additional attaching force to the bottom nose skin, adding 6 new rivets. I then disassembled the whole modification and began the process of smoothing edges and deburring. For the record, it has taken me 30 hours to get to this point. Yikes! The other wing mods, with the exception of aileron balancing, should be a snap.
