Brief Description:  Located position for nose rib 1

Using the hole in the my new extruded angle as a reference point, I made a strap template of the hole pattern from the top side of the nose skin. When this is clecoed to the nose rib, provided me with the exact location of the nose rib. This is vital since the nose rib has been trimmed on the back edge and has no fixed reference point as before. When I laid the nose rib angles along side the edge of the rib web, I immediately noticed two problems: 1) the hole for my fuel line was too close to the spar and would be covered by the new angles, and 2) the long angle on the outboard side of the rib was overlapping thin air in the middle of the radius for the lightening hole in the wing root doubler. A call to Zenith is in order.
