I have a couple of people to thank before I get too far into this post. First, my friend Debo Cox for loaning me his Parker Roto-Flair tool. What a nice piece of equipment that works perfectly every time. Second, I need to thank Dave Prizio of EAA Chapter 92 for getting me out of a jam with a stripped screw in my right tank gascolator fitting. I met him at his hangar in Chino and within 15 minutes I was ready to rotate the fitting 90 degrees, as required in this application. Thanks, guys! Using 3/8" 5052 aluminum tubing and AN-6 connectors, I made rigid connections from the bulkhead fittings screwed into my dual control supports to the gascolator. Words to the wise: Don't try to do with without first packing the tube with fine sand. Even minor tweaks can result in a collapsed tube. Don't ask me how I know. Thoroughly clean and blow out the lines before installation and you're good to go.
