Brief Description: Cut slots and installed right canopy latch
About half my time tonight was spent measuring and cutting the slots for the canopy latches. The other half was required to position, drill and place the right latch. The real challenge is to get the latch as close to the upper longeron without it binding. A few adjustments (and slight hole enlargement in the extruded tube) did the trick. Once it is tightened down, any variance in the alignment disappears. As you can see, the machine screws I used don't have enough length to allow for two threads showing, so I'll trade them out for longer screws later. Also, all of these parts as seen in the picture are coming out one more time for final painting.
