Brief Description:  Fuselage joined

Starting last night, I dove into the part of the riveting that I was most concerned about -- the baggage shelf area. There are quite a few things coming together there, most importantly the inability to pull rivets along the edges once the shelf is in place. After noodling on it a bit, I determined that the best way was to rivet the side support Ls to the shelf, along with the Z angle support underneath. This essentially made it rigid. Then I removed all the clecoes from the side skins aft of the seat back to allow me to thread in the fixed shelf structure. Voila! NOTE: Don't rivet your rear side skins in this area until you have installed the baggage shelf. It will save you a world of grief. Once in place, I went to town with the riveter. The only rivets left to pull are in the area of the seats. I just need to spend 15 to 30 minutes thinking through the order of riveting to make sure I don't lose access to the bolts through the main gear attachment and rivet holes that could get "trapped" if I don't think ahead.
