Brief Description:  Fabricated & installed panel top skin

With the number of unknowns and critical dimensions on the panel top skin, I elected to save myself frustration, time and money and just make a poster paper template first. This is highly recommended on this part. Just the fact of having to match the 30 degree down bend on the bottom edge with the same angle top of the lower portion, while hitting your instrument panel and firewall precisely makes this a really good idea. As you can see, it worked like a charm. I still have to complete the horizonatl riveting (with a little help to hold parts together while drilling), but this area is about done. The next steps on the canopy will have to wait until I get the welded parts from Zenith.
