Brief Description:  Finished baggage floor installation

Other than the addition of two short L angles connecting the center seat back channel (6-B-16-2) to the baggage floor, I'm done. I don't install that channel until later this week. I was amazed at how long the entire process of the baggage floor took me. It came in at nearly 21 hours. There are more than a few challenges regarding fuselage geometry wrapped up in this section, primarily the angle of the rear frame channel and upright channels that must match the fuselage joint line (between front and rear). The other issue is that everything moves until the very last minute. You're also dealing with an irregularly shaped floor that must be trimmed, repeatedly, until it fits to your standards. Some of us just take longer on this stuff. Guilty as described. I have a real sense of accomplishment with this under my belt. For the most part, the work I'll do from now on involves small parts and angles in the seat area. For sure the airplane is much more rigid tonight than it was one week ago.
