Brief Description:  Confirmation of modifications with ZAC

I had another conversation with Roger at ZAC to make quite sure I was on the right track with my recent modifications and/or adaptations to reality (that's scratchbuilder code for minor screw ups!). First, on the increase of thickness from .016" to .025" on the 650 rudder he had absolutely no problem. When I described the overlap between my brake cylinder support and the right bottom engine mount (described in my 9/14/2008 posting) he agreed that my solution was fine. My job is to get a rivet through the holes and secured without damaging the bottom longeron. I'm quite sure I can do that. The final discussion was regarding my problem with the too-tight wing attachment upright (described in my 12/17/2008 posting), he agreed that I had no choice but to remake my front fuselage skin. I will be using my old skin as a template and drilling through all existing holes on that side EXCEPT the wing attachment uprights, which will be started from scratch through new uprights that I order from ZAC today. All changes described above received Roger's blessings, so I can move forward with confidence in the new year.
