Brief Description: Reason for remaking upright channels
Part three of my night of frustration and adaptation. When my upright channels (6-B-5-6) are temporarily clamped in place on the rear channel, and the rear channel is set to 77.5 degrees, the outer flange isn't quite wide enough to align with both the front and rear fuselage skins that overlap in that location. I plan to remake the parts with slightly wider flanges to allow for a wider rivet line on the final installation. End of my sad story. My next entries will at least show me in fabrication mode, which is one step better than the "discovering-ways-I-screwed-up" mode. Solutions are on the way!
