Brief Description: Fabricated nose rib for new rudder
One aspect of the new 650 design that I liked was the swept-back rudder design. Even though I have already made a perfectly serviceable rudder for the 601XL, I did manage to bend up one of the bottom corners of the aluminum while polishing. If I was still building the 601XL, I would probably not have remade the part just for the slightly bent corner -- but, since I have the incentive of a new design, I dove right in tonight. As you will see in the days to come, all four rear ribs on the rudder are identical to the 601XL, so this was the only rib that required new form blocks. A perfect part first time.
