Brief Description:  Bottom engine mounts and top longeron rivet line

I have a new scratch-building rule to propose: For every modification made, there are at least three unintended consequences. I learned what those were when I began working on the bottom right engine mount on Friday. It quickly became apparent that the modification I made to the placement of the rudder/brake pedals months ago placed one of the brake cylinder supports right on top of part of the engine mount. Knowing the critical nature of the engine support, I opted to install it as designed with the intention of modifying the cylinder bracket as needed. So all I got done in two hours on Friday was to install the right bottom mount and start stewing about my predicament. Yesterday was dedicated to family and a Brian Wilson concert at the Hollywood Bowl (very fun), so I was back at it tonight. After installing the left mount, I returned to my overlap problem and decided to file away enough material on the bottom of the bracket to allow it to set on top of the mount. For this I clamped the bracket in my vice and used a vixen file along an angle that mirrored the mount overlap. I won't know until I'm ready for the final installation, but it appears to have worked. The last step of the night was to layout and drill the rivet line on the front side skin to the top longeron, starting 140mm back from the firewall rivet line.
