Brief Description: Completed gear attachment and upright installation
Today's tasks were basically more of the same, except when I came to the upright gussets. The ones I was provided were pre-drilled. Unfortunately, they didn't match with my new configuration (partly because of Tom's undersized gear channel). Anyway, I needed to make new ones, which allowed me to tailor make them. I extended their length to 65mm and the width of the front gussets was 55mm. The rear gussets I was able to make at 50mm. The good news is that I got in the required number of holes without getting too close to edge margins. This is the last entry I will make until around July 19 or 20. That is when we get back from our trip to Switzerland and Germany to participate in our daughter's wedding. Check back later because I'll be back and ready to tackle the bulkheads!
